CUPE 3902 Women’s Caucus Knitting Circle

From Amy Buitenhuis:

“Hi all, I’m organizing a “learn to knit” session through the CUPE3902 women’s caucus. I’m looking for someone who has some basic knitting skills who would be willing to share them with others for one hour-long learn-to-knit session. We will provide the yarn and needles to the instructor (and the participants). I would need the instructor to feel comfortable teaching a small group (probably 15 people?) how to knit a simple scarf. If you or someone you know is a woman or trans person who would like to help teach our knitting session, could you please let me know? In general, the purpose of this knitting club is to do some nice, emotionally healthy healing (after the extremely difficult and stressful year with CUPE last year) with a group of lovely progressive people. It could be a fun CUPE event! I’ll let you know when the session is planned.”
